Who We Are
Shreveport Flood Cleanup was founded in January 2026 by Kyle Broughton, a Shreveport-area business owner. Kyle began working in the trade industry three decades ago as a contractor, and has now evolved into providing water damage restoration to Shreveport and Bossier City homeowners.
Kyle started the company to give local homeowners and property managers a straightforward, no-pressure option for flood and water damage help — one that explains the cleanup plan, documents the work, and is honest about what insurance will and won’t cover.
How We Work
Every flood situation is different, but our approach is consistent:
- Safety first — we assess electrical, structural, and contamination hazards before anything else.
- Stop the spread — extract standing water and set up drying quickly.
- Find hidden moisture — check under flooring, behind baseboards, and inside wall cavities.
- Document everything — photos, moisture readings, and a written scope you can share with your insurer.
- Clear communication — we explain what’s known, what still needs inspection, and what could change.
Why Local Matters
Northwest Louisiana’s humidity, heavy rain, and seasonal storms change how water moves and how long drying takes.
Local familiarity with slab and pier-and-beam homes, older construction, and regional weather lets us plan drying realistically instead of guessing.
